Usage guidelines
The Poggio name and logo are trademarks of Poggio Labs, Inc. You're welcome to use them when referring to Poggio editorially or informationally. Just keep the following in mind.
- Use only the official logo files provided on this page.
- Don’t modify, recolor, distort, or add effects to the logo.
- Don’t place the logo on busy backgrounds where it loses contrast.
- Don’t incorporate the logo into other logos, product names, or trademarks.
- Don’t use the logo in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation without permission.

Wordmark
The Poggio wordmark should be used in all references to Poggio as space allows. Monochrome usage is preferred with the primary brand colors.
Minimum screen size: 64px wide. Always maintain clear space equal to the lowercase letter height around the wordmark.
Logomark
For tight layouts or logo-only grids, the Poggio logomark is a concise way to refer to Poggio.
Icon
When referring to Poggio as a company, such as on social media, or where a "chip" design is required, use this stylized icon with an appropriate corner radius.

Primary colors
Our primary palette is monochrome and neutral. Poggio indigo is our brand accent color, used sparingly to catch attention and highlight the most important elements in an interface.

Typography
Large headings and large texts
Tiempos Headline is the typeface for all large headlines, headings, and large texts. Created by the Klim Type Foundry as part of the Tiempos Collection, it is designed for larger headline sizes, striking a balance between practicality and elegance.

Zed Mono Extended is the typeface for all code blocks, inline code, and technical content. It is a monospaced font designed by Zed Industries for readability in code editors and documentation.

Labels and overlines
For section labels, chip badges, and overlines, use Calibre in uppercase with wide letter-spacing. Semibold weight in indigo is typical; stone-400 is used for quieter labels.

Licensing notes
Tiempos Headline and Calibre are commercial typefaces from Klim Type Foundry. They require a paid license for each use type (desktop, web, app). Poggio’s license covers Poggio properties only. If you plan to use these fonts on non-Poggio assets, you must purchase your own license. See Klim’s license terms for details and pricing.
Zed Mono Extended is open-source under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. It may be freely used, modified, and redistributed in any project, including commercial work, as long as the font is not sold on its own.
Google Workspace alternatives
Georgia is the alternative for all headlines, headings, and large texts. Calibri is the alternative for all body, paragraph, and small texts. Use these when Poggio’s brand fonts are not available in Google Docs, Slides, etc.

Icons
Icons are used across different brand touchpoints from marketing to product. They provide symbolism, conceptual clarity, and visual interest in simplistic shapes and forms. We leverage Google’s Material Symbols and Icons as a basis for any icon-based brand illustrations.
